Hello,
Looking for some help locating a story I read last year. I've searched and searched but have been unable to locate it, and unfortunately I can't recall the author or the title.
It takes place in a medieval/fantasy setting. There are matriarchs that have magical powers, including telepathy and/or telekinesis. The main character is a young man that has recently graduated as a young officer in the allied military and he also has the gift, which is incredibly rare for males.
The first part of the story sees him returning home to his mothers castle. The mother is ancient, at least several hundred years old, as the females with the magic don't age the same way everyone else does.
He has several sisters who are interested in him that also live in the castle. His Mother realizes that she needs to mate with him to continue a line of gifted children and they do so in that first chapter.
