I read a story in romance, I think, and now I cannot find it anymore.
The opening was a nurse was traveling from CA to TX and she pulled in to a rest stop outside of Dallas to catch a quick nap when she woke up the car was dead and she was freezing. A guy in a truck stopped and checked on her, she was hypothermic so he took her home. She was a traveling nurse, He was a Veterinarian, he had a ranch. I remember she had a small Spitfire car that she loved and he had it rebuilt. I am pretty sure is was multiple chapters.
