I love Audiogalaxy Satellite. I"m hooked on it. I set it up to run at home while I'm at work and, on the occasions I can sign online form work, I check my downloads, add new stuff to the queue and such.
I think I've downloaded at least 3 gig of great music over the last week, all incredible music and mostly jazz to add to my growing collection: Maynard Ferguson, Wynton Marsalis, Meade Lux Lewis, Jelly Roll Morton, Buddy Rich. A lot of it is to get digitally what I already have on cassette tape (Ferguson, Marsalis, and Rich), to find rare recordings I've been having a lot of trouble findind otherwise, and to find some stuff from incredible pioneers of jazz I've been learning about in my History of Jazz class.
And no, this isn't a thread to debate the ethics of doanloaded music. I've made my thoughts really clear on at least one other thread on that topic. This is just a thread to formally announce my addiction to Audiogalaxy and to proclaim it the best mp3 downloading site I've seen in a long time!
Feel my love!
