Hi all...I guess technically I'm not a newbie, I've been reading stories here for a long time, and last year I wrote a few chapters for the Tau Ceti story, but until now I've never actually tried to start something of my own.
There's a vampire story I've been scribbling at on and off for quite awhile, and I've finally decided to take the plunge and post a few chapters:

It's still waiting for approval, but in the meantime any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I've got a lot more written already, but I want to put some space between updates to give other people a chance to contribute, and of course I'd like to know if it's any good before I go slapping up 20 more chapters no one may even care to read.
