Help Finishing a story

I wrote and published a story titled "My Darling Niki Ch. 01". I'm a little stuck on the third chapter, a couple of fans have reached out, but I never heard anything back. I think it's pretty solid, but I just don't know what to do with the characters. I completed a second chapter, and I am 1/4 way through the 3rd chapter. I have no problem with adding more and more to it, I just need some more ideas. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Even if someone reads your first installment, we have no idea what your second chapter is about. How can we be of any help without more info from you?

If you're stuck for ideas then perhaps it's time to put the writing on the back burner and do a bit of reading. Not only will it be like a mini holiday, but if you read the right books, they may well lead to a bit of inspiration. I like reading Harlequin Presents/Mills and Boon books. They're a good read most of the time and they're very thin books, therefore you get to read the whole lot in a few hours, then move on to the next book.

Harlequin Presents/Mills & Boon are romance books. Romance being a short step away from erotica, which I assume you're writing about
