Help finding Gay Male story fron long, long ago
A young man was kicked out of his house after he came out to religious parents. He was traveling on foot and while resting in a wooded area and was caught masturbating outside by the property owner. After the man sent him on his way he came across a empty house and broke in to get out of the rain. The same man who caught him in the woods owned the house, which was on the same estate. The owner was an older author living in a small place on the same property and is separated from ex husband. The older gentleman feeds and cares for the young man and hey are attracted to each other but the young man eventually leaves. If I remember right the older man cannot find him and knows very little about him. Some time passes and the older gentleman is out shopping and shows up at the younger mans place of employment by accident (with his ex leeched on his side)). We find out the older man is having a difficult time getting a divorce due to marriage/divorce being in different states (or something along those lines). Eventually the author gets the divorce rolling and the ex makes a fool of himself in the courthouse causing him to get his much needed comeuppance.
The two main characters can finally be together. Sometime later the young man calls parents to tell him he is getting married. His mom is so happy and wants to meet his "wife-to-be" saying she knew he wasn't really gay. He informs her he is engaged to man and she disowns him again.
I hope this doesn't seem to be a big ramble but it is all I can remember from the story I read a few years ago. Thank you for your time and your help. I'm not positive but I think the young mans name is Lucas.
