Help finding author/story line

Hello, I’ve been trying to find the author or storyline of a series of stories. I don’t recall the stories characters names but I know it was about a family that had open relationships. The boy and girl had just turned 18 I think. The girl was in college writing about the family. There was a specific story line that centered around their party and that it was held in a special playroom.
I enjoyed reading the parts I did and I would like to be able to read more by the author. Any help is appreciated
