I was reading a brother/sister story but forgot to favorite it and can't find it or remember the title. It was about a 20 year brother named Lucas that came back home after 2 years away to recover from a motorcycle accident. His 18 year old gamer sister and him start to get closer. Other parts are their dad is an asshole litigator who was always rough on Lucas but not his sister.

From this description the story sounds alot like either "Fahrenheit 451" or "Doctor Zhivago."

"Asshole litigator" had me thinking it was more along the lines of one of the Bible-based classics, perhaps Ben-Hur.
