I'm trying to find a story that was posted this year. It involved a sister trying to convince her brother to seduce their mom, I believe for some sort of leverage. In the process the brother and sister end up having sex and the mother sees. It left off before the brother seduced the mom and looked like there would be a part two. I haven't been able to find it, even though I thought I Favorited it. Does this ring a bell to anyone?

That was my story, 'The Art of War', I took it down because the amount of illiterate hate-mail and mithering shite that came out of nowhere that I got for it just wasn't worth dealing with; if you want, you can contact me via the 'contact' tab in my writer profile and leave your email address and I'll let you have the Word doc. format for both parts gratis.

Just out of curiosity, why do you think it inspired such a heated reaction? Was there some particularly controversial plot development that people took against?

Beats me; you can have a read if you like and see if you can spot where or what the triggers are, because I couldn't; it was a straightforward story about a brother and sister plotting to get the mother off the sister's back, with a twist in the tale further down the line; maybe because it was set in London (like most of my other stories, btw...), a lot of the comments had to do with what a bunch of wankers the brits are, and how I shouldn't try to write like one, I should write what I know (FYI, I'm a Brit, from London, I know what my own language and idiom sounds like, I use it every day...), all I can think of is that maybe because it was an I/T story and I actually wrote it in a light-hearted, humorous vein, the dour I/T purists took it personally because it wasn't wall-to-wall nasty sex. If that's the case, they would have hated part 2, because there are several scenes in there that can only be best described as slapstick. Who knows, and life's too short to waste any of it second-guessing or catering to shrill idiots, so down it went and down it stays.

There are a lot of genuinely unstable people in some comment sections, if we're being honest. For example, the author Blackmatter has a veritable ton of them. Gotta be real... special to troll erotica authors. It's sad you guys are letting it get to you though, to the point of deleting stories, although it is somewhat understandable.

Never let the Doinks dictate to you. Just turn comments off and be done with it.

These weren't crappo comments on the site; those, I either keep and treasure for their looniness, leave up and share with the world, or delete if they're scary. No, these were emails via the 'contact' tab in my profile, a veritable torrent of them, so either I hit a nerve in the collective consciousness, or some eedjit got a serious hardon for me and just wanted to show me the love. I still get them, and from the word use and tone, obviously from the same person or group of persons, I just delete them, who needs that crap littering their inbox? It just seems to be that particular story that set him/them off; all my other stuff is relatively untouched, and apparently well enough liked that anyone who posts snot-o-grams from 'Angry of Newark' on them just gets pounced on by fans or makes themselves look stupid by posting obviously nonsensical drivel.
