I started this multi chapter story a long time ago and can't remember the name or any character names. Any help in finding this would be greatly appreciated.
The story was about a girl whose country was taken over by another military presence. She was found to be of religious significance, a priestess of some sorts. She was linked to a high-up military guy, maybe a General. They were linked with a gold band on their arms. I think he was able to control her through the band.
I think the military guy took her to a family dinner with his mother and his brother and his mother was super rude.
She ends up getting pregnant and doesn't know what it is. She calls it her little blip or something like that.
I remember more about the story, if this seems familiar to you but you need more info let me know!
