Hey, it's a Global Community they keep telling me these days.

Yes I do have an accent, that is to say I speak just like all New Zealanders - through my nose and swallowing my words. I personally abhore the New Zealand accent, when I notice it.

It's nearly Monday here , still that would be worse if I actually got Saturday and Sunday off. At least there are no problems with Monday morning, it's nearly the end of my working week.

I just think the Kiwi accent is so lazy, I'd rather talk with an east coaster or eurpoean (well some of them) anyday for the sheer pleasure of the sound. It's not just about hearing the same thing every day, I actually dislike the accent, but don't notice it most of the time.

I get what you're saying. I think every one wishes they had some kind of cool accent. But look at it this way your accent is cool to someone else.
People in the states seem to love the way we Canadians say "EH" at the end of pretty much every sentence eh.
