Ok, so I thought that a place for all of us girls to hang out was in order. I know I love it if any of you ladies drop by my thread to post, and I'm sure that's something we all have in common. Soooo, what do you girls think about having a thread where we can all sort of chat with each other and post "girlie" pics? I love getting to know y'all and I think this could be a fun place to do it. So, if you think it's a good idea... post, and if not we can just let it die. :D

This isn't just a good idea, it's a GREAT idea! I would definitely like to exchange ideas and girlie banters with the sexy ladies in here*grins* soooo soo loving the idea of a "girl" thread.
 
Well I wasn't sure if it would go over well, but *I* like the idea and I'm glad you do too. :D
 
As for me... I'm awake at 4 am doing laundry. My daughter has school in the morning so I need to make sure she has a clean uniform. Mommy's work is never done. ;)

Awww, hope you get some well deserved rest and relaxation this weekend. Moms are wonderwomen. I just got out of class, it's Friday here and weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeH*grins*. It's my favorite day of the week, unless if there's a schedule for a class or something on Saturdays.

Us mom's just do what's gotta be done. My daughter has school during the day, and my son is still home with me. It's great, but a bit stressful at times.

I see that you're in school. Do you have a job too or are you exclusively a student until you get out?

I've been in and out of school. I was accepted into nursing, but I changed my mind. I think I want to go into psychology instead.
 
I'm exclusively a student til I get out. It's pretty difficult for me to work part time due to unpredictable schedules during rotations. I'm a student nurse in my 4th year(atlast!) and can't freaking wait til it's all done.

Nursing's pretty challenging, stressful yet very rewarding. I would say follow what you like so you won't have regrets later on. Plus it always feels better when you're doing what you want as opposed to just going with the flow.

I think it's a really nice idea. Not sure I'm going to be brave enough to post pics in here but I'll definitely drop in for a chat and gossip :)

Rotations or (clinicals here) were one of the reasons I decided not to continue. Plus, I want to be a midwife. Here in Alabama there are none, so I'd have to move to another state to actually fulfill that dream. Sucks, but it is what it is I suppose. :rolleyes:

Hey there beautiful! I've always admired your photos and personality. I think you are absolutely precious. I've been in and out of this place for a very long time and I've always remembered you as a gorgeous classy woman. Even if you don't post pics (although I wish you would) I think it would be great if you'd still stop by and chit chat with all of us! Don't make me beg?!?!?! Cause I will! ;)

It's 4:30 am here and I'm just passing by for a moment on my way back to bed, but I think it's a wonderful idea. I really enjoy the friendships that I have with the ladies that I've already gotten to know, but there are so many that I haven't had a chance to meet yet. It'll be great to have a place to chat, share stories, and compare notes.
 
I really haven't had a chance to meet too many of the ladies here so I think this is a great idea :)

I'm a 4th year nursing student too! What clinicals are you doing right now? I'm doing OB and peds :)

There are no midwives in Alabama? You learn something everyday .....

And training as a nurse sounds like studying and working to me! Please excuse my gender BTW

I would jump in here and put in my two cents about nurses, midwifery, working moms, laundry and the sort, but I'm the wrong gender as well.
 
I've already seen some of my favorite posters in this thread, so I figured I should say hello too. I look forward to seeing where this thread goes. :)
