Hi Everyone:
I am new to the site. A matter fact, I am so new I haven't been unwrapped yet. There is a long story that goes along with my change from a career in computer engineering to writing. For now, I'll keep my intro brief. I chose DaddyBear as a nick for no real reason. Once I figure things out around here I may change it to something else. I've submitted two stories. They are 'pending'. I chose two oppossite themes as a way of testing myself. The two stories are my first efforts so, be gentle...other then journals, business form, and penpal, letter writing I've been to chicken, prior to these two submissions, to publish anything. Simply put, I made a commitment on the first of this year to try...try and see if anyone will actually 'get' what I write.
A gamble, or calculated bet, to be sure. But what the heck Lady Godiva put everything she had on a horse....right?
