Hello????

This board is being spammed all over the place and I keep reporting it but nothing happens. What's the deal here?
I don't know, they probably believe it works better with Italians :D

Yeah I do. Although I have not been to Italy too many times I have read a lot about your country, seen the beautiful pictures etcetera. There's a few places I must visit at one time but I also simply love the south of France so mostly end up there (again :D ). Where (about) do you live?
What places do you want to visit? (although I suspect I might name them already ;) ).
I like Holland a lot, have visisted a few times, been very fond of the country and (mostly) of its female citizens :D ... was even able to speak the language a little bit.
I live in the north of Italy, in one big big town ;)

Of course I would like to see Venice, Milano and Rome, that goes without saying. I have been to Ventimiglia but was disappointed. What I saw (I was there one afternoon, visiting while vacationing in the South of France) was a dirty and neglected city. Maybe I was in the wrong part though.

Another time we stayed on the border of Switzerland and Italy, I would have to look up where that was. It was lovely there.

Of course Tuscany and Umbria are high on my list.

So where were you while you were in the Netherlands?
I guess there is no part of Ventimiglia one would possibly find okay ... the French knew well where to choose the new border when they took away our territory (Nizza/Nice used to be Italian once)

Perhaps, if I may suggest, since you're at it, you could spend some time in Sicily too

I've been to Amsterdam, mainly. I was there once during the Queen's birthday: hell of a lot of fun :D

Plus the weather has to be nice for it to be really nice IMO and
thát.... is always a problem here in the NL
True ... Amstel seems to fix it in the end though ;) :D

Amstel? Is that right? :D I'm not a beer-drinker myself. I prefer wine. One more reason to like Italy :D

Have to get going though.... dinner date with husband to be ;)
Nice talking to you. We serve Amstel in the Dutch Lit Café. Stop by if you feel like it (Dutch Lit) ... all speak at least English and who knows some Italian.

A ciao!
I'll sure take your offer one of these days and try some of my rusty + limited Dutch ... better not, on second thought: you may well imagine what I can remember :D

My regards to the lucky one :)

Buon appetito

Well, do come by. If your recollection of Dutch has anything to do with Amstel ( :D ) it might be these words "Ober, drie bier graag,en een beetje vlug" :p
I'm not sure about the "vlug" bit :D

How about: "Jou bent een moje mesje"? ... sort of
