Hello,

I am new and have one story published. I am very exsited about that. It was my first and not perfect, but it made me hot so I guess that works. :) I have written another and just submitted it. I love to write and hope to only get better as time goes on. Thanks for letting me ramble.

Welcome, NJ and IY. :)

If you haven't done so already, you may want to read the sticky threads at the top of the main How To page. They'll help you figure out how everything works around here and there's a place to write a more detailed introduction, if you'd like.

You may want to put a link to your author page in your signature so people can get to it from the forums easily. There are detailed instructions on putting links and images in sigs in the "FAQs Before Posting" sticky at the top of How To.

Since it sounds like you're interested in improving, I'd suggest checking out the Editor's Forum here, and the Writers Resources on the main site. In the EF, you can hook up with a volunteer editor who can help you with anything from general feedback on stories to proofreading to detailed help with plots and mechanics. In my experience, everyone can use another pair of eyes to help catch pesky mistakes, and the best writers almost always get feedback and help with editing before submitting because it truly elevates the quality of their work, reader opinions and writing skills.

Again, welcome, and enjoy your time here! :rose:

welcome, norajean! erika's advice is, as always, superb, but if you have trouble figuring out how to adjust your profile as she suggests, how about posting a link to your story submissions in this thread in the meantime? :>

indulge yourself: hey, perhaps you should consider posting? :>
