Hello, GB.

Hi Perg! There's a GB lounge now, other than that, it's just business and crazy as usual.

Hi. Yes. No.

Right. Thanks. See y'all in another two years.

Hi Perg! There's a GB lounge now, other than that, it's just business and crazy as usual.

I saw that. I can't recall if I've looked in there yet or not. Is it just, like, GB Lite?

Who the fuck are you? :)

I dunno, man, I come here every couple years to remember.

Perg! Where have you been ?

Hi, you! All my social media time has been on Facebook lately. Are we friends there? We should be.

GB lounge is the gooder side of the GB

Be good to yourself, Perg

The windows need to be closed. The storm is headed this way.

Was this you ? (Just lightly, gently ribbing you.)

Oh, it's you . . . .

Nope, we're not FB friends.

And we're not any closer to having a beer.

I guess that about covers all of it then.

Hi. :)

I'm new... ish.

I like your name so I thought I'd say hi.

Northern Cardinals have been very busy since official Spring. I fed apples to the robins during the late Spring snow storm. They were flocking together. So very odd.

I'll wander over that way then. I'm not sure I feel like the usual crap tonight. I have been! I had a year of recovering from a cardiac nuisance--never really a scare, just a pain--but that's all better now and I've spent the last three years learning medieval swordplay, collecting swords, learning their history, etc. Still doing outdoorsy stuff as well...mostly hiking and SAR when I can...and taking a course in modern druidry. It's been fun. What about you?

Hah! Not me. I've pulled a few people off Lafayette over the years though. One of my most tragic and dramatic rescues was a couple who got benighted and beblizzarded up there. She died and he survived. Bad stuff. Also, my very first body recovery was from there, a thru-hiker who had a brain bleed.

"Where is my Zippo lighter?"

"Of course, it was stolen by a juvenile delinquent while taking a nap on the bus."

"Thanks buddy. You are a great example of other members of this forum."

"Now, where is my watch?"
I do not understand this post.

Hey, Perg.

New? Not much in 15 years... Some of us keep bouncing back in here, gawd knows why. ;)

Did you have a different name once? Hi there.

Oh, it's you . . . .

Lulz. Hiya Wat. We can be; PM me your name over there, I'll friend you.

i'm married to HarryHill and living in hamerica now :cool::cool:

Buttahs! Hi you. Is he still selling band instruments to rubes? What part of Hamurrica?

Northern Cardinals have been very busy since official Spring. I fed apples to the robins during the late Spring snow storm. They were flocking together. So very odd.

A couple years ago in the middle of winter a huge flock of 'em showed up in front of my house. I keep forgetting to ask an expert what thenhell that's about.

Perg, WGBH Boston PBS has been dropping hints that robins casually join together in a flock, eventually to fly South, or North.

Suburbia seems to be more popular than my postage stamp sized conservation preserve. Plenty of robins on the lawns. Maybe, the just use the woods to roost at night.

Maybe, extended families of robins occupy neighborhoods. That might explain the robin's loud, aggressive yelling songs- "stay off of my family's property!"

The Northern cardinals song has changed from "I'm a lovely male, look at how red I am," to "get the fuck out of here, I am trying to feed my mate and offspring, here."

Hey and shit. What up, homeskillet?
Dood! How you been?

That all makes sense. Laughing at the last. I just attended four days of "bird language intensive," and, yeah, pretty much. You'd like that class. White Pine Programs is the biz name. New England Bird Intensive. If you don't have the book What The Robin Knows, you'd probably love it.

He is unique,
Hey, Fluff!
