I'm glad to hear that you have made it back home safe and sound.
Yes, it's been quiet here for a bit. Nothing much fun to report from this side of the pond. It's ridiculously cold here in Chicago. We already have a bunch of snow and are supposed to get another 8-12" overnight. It was already a challenge getting the car down the alley, as the city doesn't plow them. We may not be driving anywhere until the next thaw.

It sounds like the next car will be a 4X4.
We'll have 2-3" of snow tonight on top of the other 6", but it will disappear by Wednesday they say. Then it's fifty shades of gray, and not in a fun way!

The current car is all wheel drive, but doesn’t have the ground clearance.

Tea, that's a good idea, will have to be Tetley's though with real milk. It's looking lovely outside, the morning light always makes the old sandstone look beautiful.

No, I just mean from a cow It sticks up a finger to the Oat, Almond and Rice 'milk' it's outnumbered by - though to be fair, they aren't totally insufferable.

They do but I'm glad cow's milk is still an option for me. They are definitely an alternative but only in desperate circumstances.
