Just want to introduce myself!

My name is Florence, everyone call me Flo and I am 19 years old. I am from Newfoundland. I am a University student in music and folklore (I can't make up my mind). I work part time in a Pub, play fiddle, guitar and I picked up the bodhran couple months ago.

I also write erotic stories, that was never posted publicly before but you should see my work soon.

I can't list specific artists, it's the sound that strikes me, but whatever has a celtic influence does move me. Peruvian flutes get inside me as well.

There seems to be a lot going on in NB with celtic music, though again, I couldn't tell you by whom. I pick up bits and pieces on net radio and public radio. Have you always been inclined to things celtic or is it the university at NB that has influenced you?

I have grew up in Trad music. i have been taking Fiddle class for as long as I remember. My bro showed me guitar and I picked up the bohdran.

Mom and Dad has been dancing, doing music and we had the biggest kitchen parties around the village. I grew up in it. My big bro is also very much into trad music and Newfoundland history and since I always looked up to him...

Dad is Irish and Mum's ancestors are from Scotland so yeah, my influences are mostly my background...
