Hello all, a long week over

Whew, I'm glad the weekend is finally here (though of course it's to be busy) because it was a long week. In addition to filling in for lots of classes and in other assorted spots for my principal this week, I also had the unfortunate experience of having the father of one of my 13 year old students pass away, leaving her an orphan.

Feeling kinda bummed/blah I thought I'd come hang out with you guys for a bit.

ManoSafety... I am sorry about your bummer of a week.. it is tough being a teacher at times.. trust me I know also... I had one of my 11 year old students grandmother to died 2 weeks ago leaving him with just about no one in the world also... Hang in there guy.. it will get better... at least I hope it will..

I was just going through the posts from yesterday. Now that it is later in the evening on Saturday, I hope your weekend is getting a whole lot better. If not, do what I do: pour yourself some Malibu rum on the rocks, light a stogie and throw some Jimmy Buffett on the CD player and enjoy. Hope it works for you.

Malibu is the best rum in the world. mmmmmm. I think I'll go make one right now.
