Crazy Kev
It was just another day in Greenville, Kevin slipped on his black jeans and t-shirt, following it with his jacket, like most of his apparel it was black as well, but leather. The start of another week, another week spent listening to stories spoken about the crazy boy when they know they can be heard. He heaved a sigh and grabbed his bag and slung it over his shoulder. As he came to the front door, his father's voice rang out from the kitchen.
"Kevin?! You want breakfast?!"
Kevin grimaced, he hated the times his father tried to be normal.
"No thanks, late as it is."
He didn't wait for the response, he closed the door behind him and jogged down the street, it would not do to start the day late now would it? In fact he made the bus just in time and took his usual seat right at the back of the bus. The Jocks tend to melt away from him and when he decided to take that spot for himself nobody tried to stop him, nor did they complain. At the school he got off last and trudged his way to his locker room, most children just ignoring him or moving away from him. It didn't bother him at all, he opened his locker, stored his bag inside and pulled out his books. Closing and locking the locker he heard one of the cheerleaders mention to another as they walked past that one of the girls didn't feel that well, aparantly a stray dog bit her, but she should be in school a bit later. He grimaced, must have tasted bad for the poor dog.
