Hi. Haven't spent much time in the AH so I hope you don't mind if I throw in my two cents (or maybe less).

Rhino, I read your story yesterday and was very impressed. Both with the artwork (lovely) and the prose (honest).

I think numbers of views are tied completely to category. Let's face it, people have some faves out there. My own personal best was in the Mature category (269 votes) for a story I wrote in two hours. Go figure. Other stuff stuck in smaller categories limps along at 20 votes and many fewer views. Illustrated is (I think) a favorite category (I know I check it out) and, perhaps, hence your "luck". For my money your story deserves all it's achieved and would do well in any other category as well. Oh, well. (yes I know I used well three times)

Why people don't vote is one of the mysteries around here. It's so easy (5-4-3-2-1, pick one)!

Well, I'll get down off my soap box now. It's getting slippery. OOPs! Shit, should have stepped off sooner. God, what a white foamy mess!

I have always done it just to purge ideas and concepts...but it is more fun to share. Same with my illustrations.
