If heaven and hell were to be what you percieved, define each...

Heaven for me would be to spend eternity with my woman.

Hell on the other hand would to be taunted constantly by windows and dos configuration errors.

Yours?

heaven if it was what i wanted it to be: A cock that never ever got soft and a thousands women who always wanted it :-D

Hell: would be having to watch the guy with a never ever softening cock witha thousand women who always wanted it and not having any way to at least wake off and at least get relief

here's the short version... i hope haha

2 guys were in a bar
they both walked out together
at the same instant they r hit by a truck
one goes to heaven
the other to hell

a couple years later
the demon and angel cross paths again
"how's Hell?" the angel asks

"Well... you know... he is quite gracious. Allows us to have feasts for any occassion on the condition that we only eat with our forks." the demon furrows his brow

"And that is not a good thing?" the angel enquires

"The handle of our fork is as long as our arm so we can pick up the food but not eat it"

"Ahhhhhh", says the angel smiling softly, "we use the same forks in heaven."

"YOU DO?!?!" the demon shrieked in disbelief

"Yes, they work wonderful, because we feed each other"

Moral of the story: One Man's Heaven is Another Man's Hell... or visa versa :)

Hell: Being in a car accident, getting a concussion, blacking out, wondering if I needed stitches, then racing to campus so I wouldn't miss my biochem final...*groan*...this was not the best of days...

Heaven: Having wonderful people there to comfort me

Heaven would be ANYwhere as long as Ravenloft and I were together, face to face.

Hell would, obviously, be the exact obvious. I life without Jason simply wouldn't be worth living.

Tiggs I hear you :)

HEAVEN would be to have myself wrapped around Havoc, and never let go.

HELL Life without my son or Havoc, would send me over the edge to a place that would eat my soul, somewhere I would never want to return from for losing them.

Heh, Savage Kitten. That's a paraphrase of a Zen story I once heard. It's basically the same except done from the viepoint of a visitor to heaven and hell, but instead of forks they use chopsticks over a meter long tied to their right arm, with their left arm tied behind them. As the story goes, those in hell could pick up the food but no matter how they stretched their arm they couldn't bring it to their mouths. Those in heaven where in the same situation, but were able to eat as they picked up the food and fed it to each other.

The moral of the story as I see it, is that it is only heaven or hell depending on your actions and perceptions. If those in hell stop their selfishness and realised that others around them were having the same trouble, they could see that they could help each other, and thus, they would be like heaven.

And remember, wax on, wax off, wax on, wax off..... :)

<singing> form Boston:

If heaven ain't a lot like Dixiiiieeeee, I don't wnat to go!

***NEWS FLASH***

That's not Boston... that is Alabama...
And to think you used to be chock full of useless music trivia.

Hell - the meeting I was at yesterday morning... Could have sworn I'd been sent to hell. Seriously, hell would be those things you most hate and despise.

Heaven is a harder concept.

Hmmm. Maybe it's a bad sign that I can define hell but not heaven. Note to self: Think about this.

Hell: Being stuck here forever, alone, hopeless and misunderstood, and not being able to do my ceramics or write.

Heaven: Finding my soulmate, never having to do anything I don't want to do, always having clay, every day would be like arts & crafts! :)
