I am thinking to put the ideas of this piece into a more common poetry form but thought I'd see if people like this version. Its for every woman out there who has shared so much as a smile with me. All comments welcome.

Dear Starlight

O eutheet starlight,
I will honour thee aright,
for so much lustre and delight
and such joy throughout the night.

The sun brings welcome warmth and light.
All that live on earth adore its shinning might.
Yet is it somewhat boring, plain and over-bright?
So much so we cringe and squint our mortal sight.

O eutheet starlight at vast and shadowed tranquil height,
supreme in splendid spread, beauty bare, aureole forthright.
My sanguine gaze caressing such soft and subtle marvel-light
between long and sensuous twinkles; excited angles flicker tight.

The opalescent Moon, the sacred rock by which the tides sway right,
serene in steadfast orbit, bestowing gentle guidance of gracious opal-light,
Shimmering with wise illusion; dancing to full and round from slim and quite
invisible to the mortal eye, when paradigm reveals the sun's reflected glory bright.

O eutheet starlight, grandest canopy of my whole adoring self; at large in joyous flight.
Majestic; visage eternal of finest radiance commends distant lands and the familiar to unite.
Above both sun and moon, my loves one and many mysterious; ethereal; contrary fairy sprite
with constantly peaceful and sublime perfection highlighting ancient, distant; obscured Aphrodite.
