[loosely based on X-Men]
When the great war of the world had ended all super heroes disappeared with their respective villains. The world seemed to be at a balance again. No super humans or what they called the "Evolutionally Advanced" existed. It was just normal people with normal human lives. The villains that hid away from human sight, began to rise and rule over seperate towns and cities. Soon enough they congregated in one place as headquarters. They congregated in the large city of Chicago where they turned the entire united states into mass mayham. The rest of the world could only watch in horror as the Victoir's, as they called themselves, took over the majestic country. They feared the worst and expected the Victoirs to attack the other countries. What they didn't expect was an elite force of Super heroes making their own institute in the deserts of Arizona. Led by a magnificent young evolutional woman Heartbeat institute for the Evolutionally Advanced was slowly growing and with her elite team of superheroes, Pulse, she slowly began clearing up the villains in the U.S. imprisoning them in her institute.
You can either be a super hero or a villain. Though there are also what we call re-hab villains that are learning to be good. Or you can have your villain break out of Heartbeat prison.
About the Facility: Heartbeat Institute for the Evolutionally Advanced. Large campus with a prison, boarding school, training center and a building for the official Pulse team. Students are from ages 18-21. I'm only accepting a few teachers ages 22 +

Alter Ego: Helen Ting
Alias: Hell, Formerly Synge, Formerly Flame Girl, Formerly Helion.
Age: 20 [I told you she was young]
Institute Rank: Head Mistress and Founder [Ranks are students, Pulse Student, Teacher, Villain, Other please specify]
Description: Hell is about 5'8" and weighs approximately 130 pounds. She has a slim figure with voluptuous curves. She has blue eyes and black hair, though sometimes she'd die it chocolate brown.
Powers && Abilities: Besides being an amazing fighter and shooter, Hell has the ability to control other's emotional feelings and understand them as well, aslo known as Empathy. Her most prominent and famous ability is her fire manipulation. Not only is she pyrokinetic, but her body absorbs flames and she can cover her body in these flames as well. [think of the human torch]
Histoyr: Helen was born into a normal family. Growing up her parents knew she had pyrokinesis, but never regarded her power of empathy. Helen kept her crazed family together through her Empathy. Easing the fights and such. Even in school she was able to weasel her way out of trouble with this power.
As a teen she struggled with her Pyrokinesis. The flames on her body would always appear and she'd have to stay inside most of the time. She secluded herself in the basement when the flames dispersed. She soon learned how to control it and at the age of eighteen after watching the world be consumed by villains. She started Heartbeat institute and sent out ads for those who had "evolutianally advanced" powers.
