Heart Of King Arthur (Open For 1)

(This is open to one person to play king author)

Anna had always been told that she had power over men because she was beautiful and she was young. Only 18 and she was arranged to marry king Arthur a man in his 50's. She had met him a few times, but never in her right mind did she think it would ever to marry him. Her deep brown eyes looked around as the carriage took her to the castle. Anna was going to leave everything behind. With a sigh she closed her eyes, wondering what he was like in bed. She was a virgin still, her body young and pure, when they stopped a man helped her out of the carriage and right to where the king was waiting, she bowed her head.

"Ive arrived my lord" She spoke with respect.

King Author wiped the blood from Excalibur and drove it back into its sheath. Yet another battle won. His men were weary, but it was, at last, time to return to Camelot. As the army marched home a messenger approached bringing word that his marriage proposal Anna had been accepted. It was, in part, a political move, of course, Anna’s father owned much land and many soldiers. An alliance would be very beneficial. But there was more to it than that. Author very much liked the look of young Anna. She was very beautiful, and Author could tell, even from the brief conversations they had that he enjoyed her company. Yes, this was an arrangement he was very much looking forward to.

He returned to Camelot the day before Anna was to arrive. He bathed immediately, washing the grunge of travel and battle off of himself, before lying in his bed and falling into a deep sleep, where he dreamed of his beautiful bride-to-be. The next morning he awoke and donned his formal armor. It was shinning steel with gold inlayed; it also had a crimson cape draped about the collar, and soft brown leather gloves. He trimmed his beard and looked at himself in the reflecting pool. He was a handsome man, his full beard neatly trimmed, and his short brown hair was well kept, with only a hint of grey on the side. But his bright green eyes still shinned with the same mischievous light he had had all his life.

Later that morning he waited for Anna at the gates of Castle Camelot. One of his nobles helped her out of her carriage when she arrived. She bowed humble and said “I’ve arrived my lord.”

Author took her hand and kissed it “Welcome to Camelot, my lady.” He then lifted her chin so that their eyes met; they were more beautiful than he remembered, and added cheerfully: “and you may call me Author.”

And with that, he led her into the dinning hall where a feast had been arranged for the two of them and all the nobles. It was to be a grand occasion indeed!

Anna watched him walking closer, he was a fine man, as she felt his hand on her chin all she did was smile.
She was nervous, the age thing didn't bother her in the least, but she was very young and didn't know if she was ready to settle down.
She knew he would want sons and even daughters, her brown eyes scanned his eyes and she gave a kind look.

"Alright Author" she said softly.

She knew her father owed him and payment basically was her, even if it wasn't, but all she could do now was smile.
"I was surprised when my father told me I had an arranged marriage, he just recently told me it was you" Her hands down and in the front of her, wondering something.

"But what do you seen in me?"

Author gave a full laugh. “You are modest, Anna, a trait befitting a queen.” He then turned toward her and his face sobered a little. “I choose you for that. You have many traits that would befit a queen, your beauty not the least of them if I may say so.” He gave her a sly wink.

They entered the dinning hall and took their seats at the head table. All the other lords and knights filed in and offered their congratulations to the new couple. When everyone had taken a seat and the food was served, Author stood and raised his goblet. The room fell instantly quiet and everyone waited for his words.

“A toast!” his merry voice filled the hall “To my new bride, that she enjoy many years of joy in her new home, and” he gestured to the men and women in the dinning hall “that you show her the kind of friendship that you have shown me.” There was a general cheer. Cups were raised and emptied, and Author held up his hands until silence fell again. “Now, my friends, enjoy the feast. Eat, drink, and be merry!” Another cheer as the people set upon the food and began their conversations.

Author sat back down, and leaned toward Anna at his right. “Enjoy the feast, afterwards you may use my baths and one of the guest bedrooms. Tomorrow we will be wed!”

She smiled as she heard what he said, she wanted to say something she slowly stood up her hands in her lap, she noticed people looking at her as the room was silent. She looked down for a moment, a smile on her face, nodding to herself as she looked up. Her green eyes looked at everyone, her gentle hands one over the other as she stood gracefully a kindness in her face.

"Everyone...everyone has lost something precious...everyone here has lost homes...dreams...and friends....Ive decided to do what I can to help this land...one day this place will be ours again...working together....we can make new homes for ourselves and new dreams....although the journey will be hard, we have some time...together we will rebuild Camelot...the road is ahead of us, so lets start out today" She smiled clearing her thought silently.

"Just one more thing....the people and the friends we have lost, and dreams that have faded....never forget them" She said with a smile, she slowly sat down wondering what people would say if anything, she didn't know if Author was going to say anything, she just waited for something to happen.

The crowd mumbled their agreement and returned to the feast. Merlin, seated to Arthur’s left, whispered into Arthur’s ear. “Your wife-to-be speaks with wisdom. A fine choice.”

Arthur agreed heartily. He was very much looking forward to her being his queen. He also had to admit to himself, as he glanced at her from the corner of his eye, that the idea of sharing a bed with her was quite appealing.

Arthur looked to Anna admiringly. “A better queen could not have been found. I am proud to have you.” He then reached over and took her hand savoring the soft, warm feel of her skin in his rough, battle-hardened hands. Arthur smiled as he looked into her beautiful eyes. Wishing he did not have to wait until tomorrow to be with her.

Anna could hear what the great wizard said and found herself blushing, she looked over at her soon to be husband, feeing him taking her hands she smiled kindly even though they were a bit rough she felt the softness in them. The dinner was wonderful, everything so perfect she sighed a bit, once dinner was over she walked beside Author and smiled contently, she was happy and knew she would be very happy here.

"Ive always had a special place in my heart for you, even if my father owes you money, you could have punished him severally and yet you showed him mercy and that I respect highly" She said softly, her deep eyes looked up at the sky, hidden beauty she saw within the night sky, she even saw a shooting star which brought a smile on her face.

"I just hope I make you happy"

Anna’s words touched Author. He took a moment to gaze at the stars with her, then told her what he felt: “Anna. Being a king is hard in the best of times. This is a time of war, which makes being king much harder. It will be no easier being a queen in these trying times.” He paused and reached his big arm around Anna’s small waist and brought her close to him. He wished he was not wearing his armor so that he could feel her bosom press up against his chest. Author then looked into her beautiful eyes again, eyes that easily matched the beauty of the stars above them. “But it is of great comfort to me to know that after every battle, war meeting, and political struggle, I will return to my bed chamber and be greeted by such a woman as you.” Their lips were very near each other as he spoke, but after he said these words he could no longer keep his lips from hers. He kissed her soft lips gently at first, then he placed his hand lightly against the side of her head, loving the feeling of her dark hair, and they kissed so deeply that it seemed to him that the whole world were nothing but this.

Anna listened to what he said closely, she had no idea what it was like for him, she had no idea what being a king entailed but she had a feeling it was very rough. "I know it wont be easy" Anna finally said a smile on her face, she felt herself moving and it was then she saw his eyes, he was much older then her, but she enjoyed being close to him, she felt his soft lips against hers she closed her eyes as she placed her hand on his chest plate, feeling the wind around them, the kiss a magical feeling, she was taken back.

"I will always be here for you Author"

Arthur wanted this moment to last forever. In his mind he kissed her again and again, with greater passion each time. His thoughts brought them to his bed chamber where they shared a glorious moment in infinity….

But that didn’t happen. There was a proper way to do things and, as a king, he had to do things the proper way (sometimes he grew so weary of his crown). Arthur heaved a sigh. A bit of the twinkle left his eye; they still looked youthful, only a bit tired now. “I suppose we should be getting off to bed. I will show you to the guest bedroom you will be staying in tonight. There is a wedding gown in there for tomorrow’s ceremony.” With that he took her hand and led her through the castle to the most lavish guest room they had. They stood outside the door and before leaving Arthur felt he had only one more thing to say: “Anna, you will make a fine queen.” He said seriously, “but you are going to make a wonderful wife. You are truly a blessing.” With that he leaned in and lightly brushed his lips to hers before bidding her sweet dreams and turning to go to his bed.

Anna smiled lovingly at him and nodded some returning the soft kiss she went inside her room the door shut as she looked at the wedding dress she ran her fingers down the beautiful fabric, she laid down and managed to fall asleep rather fast when she woke up she realized today was the day. She took a bath and sent word to the priest she had a song for her husband that she wanted to do during there vows. She got into her wedding dress, minutes felt like hours and she was happy. Her hair was made up with her maids her straight brown hair now curly and she sat down as she looked down at herself, she sighed a bit, in pure white which matched her innocence, she was only 18 and never had a chance to be with a man up until now.

A pendent lay on her bare chest it was pure blue in the shape of a tear drop, as her feet met the floor in each step she was led to where the others were, a beautiful church the church doors closed, she knew in there was her husband, she bite her lip as her heart was ready to fall out of her mouth, she looked behind her seeing two knights behind her to make sure no one tried to harm there future queen, they bowed there heads showing respect, she turned back towards the doors. She had a bouquet of flowers red and white roses, her deep green eyes noticed the double doors opening, she closed her eyes as she felt stares when she opened up her eyes she felt like she was going to pass out but instead of blacking out she moved.

Her graceful body moving one foot over the other as a teenage girl took hold of the back of her dress, her vail down which helped her nervousness and two flower girls putting white rose petals on the ground as she walked, each inch felt like she was farther away. She smiled as she turned looking into her lords eyes and her flowers taken by the girl that held her dress as her warm hands touched his. A smile on her lips, innocent and purely happy, a man who was almost 60 didn't look a day over 40 she knew this was meant to be.

Arthur was standing on the altar, waiting. He wore different formal attire now: A black tunic with the Pendragon Crest in gold on the front. The crest is that of a rearing dragon bellowing flames into the air; an imposing sight on Author’s broad chest. Strapped at his hip was Excalibur in it’s golden scabbard. Atop Author’s proud head was his golden crown.

The doors open and Author could not suppress a gasp. He knew Anna would look beautiful, but he never expected anyone less than an angel to be so dazzling. The dress she wore was cut low enough to preserve her modesty, but it showed off her lovely curves very well and the lovely pendant had the effect of drawing the eye down at first glance, so that it was hard to miss the swell of her perfect breasts. The light from outside and streaming in the windows caught her dark hair and made her beautiful eyes shine like green fire.

Author was beaming at her when she reached the altar. The ceremony was beautiful and seemed to sweep by in a blur until the vows were to be exchanged

She heard the priest and agreed with everything he said but the vows now, what she had was trully beautiful in her opinion. Now was the time for her to do her vows, she looked into his eyes lovingly, holding his hands still she couldn't help but smile. Never in her wildest dreams did she think she would ever marry, never did she think that she would marry, never did she ever think this was her fate, to be queen, she bite her lip and sighed as a soft melody came from her lips then words flowing out.

"Never knew I could feel like this..Like I've never seen the sky before..Want to vanish inside your kiss..Everyday I love you more and more..Listen to my heart, can you hear it sings...Telling me to give you everything
Seasons may change winter to spring..But I love you until the end of time

Come what may, come what may..I will love you until my dying day

Suddenly the world seems such a perfect place..Suddenly it moves with such a perfect grace..Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste..It all revolves around you

And there's no mountain too high no river too wide..Sing out this song and I'll be there by your side..Storm clouds may gather and stars may collide..But I love you until the end of time

Come what may, come what may ..I will love you until my dying day..Oh come what may, come what may ..I will love you until my dying day."

She smiled as she grew silent.

A tear began to well up in Author’s eye. Ah that voice! He thought to himself. He kept his stern jaw steady and tried to allow himself only so much smile (his face was trying to make him grin like fool). Now it was his turn. He had no song, but he did have a few choice words he wanted to share with Anna and all those present in the chapel.

“Dearest Anna,” he began. “Our time together has been short. We have only truly had a mere few hours to get to know one another, but we will have an entire lifetime for that. I look forward to every moment of it. I know that you will make a wonderful wife for me, and a fantastic queen for England.” It wasn’t very long, but what else needed to be said. After that the priest named them man and wife and Author once again pressed his lips onto Anna’s and entered his own personal Heaven.

They walked down the aisle together. Author could barely suppress his grin for the surprise ahead for Anna. The doors opened out to the city square, where most of the population waited, and standing at the foot of the steps was old Merlin, holding a silver tiara on a purple pillow. The crowed cheered riotously as Merlin approached.

Anna looked a bit shocked as the grinning king asked her to kneel. Anna realized what was going on and she genuflected before Author with her head up proudly. Author took the tiara from the pillow and Merlin moved behind the Author to get out of the way. Author held the tiara above Anna’s head as he shouted out his proclamation to the crowd. “Citizens of Camelot and of all England, behold your new queen. Treat her as you would me, for I have chosen her as a wise and worthy ruler!” With that he placed the tiara on Anna’s head, where is sat nobly and only made her entire appeal that much greater. She stood. “Do you have any words for your new vassals, my queen?” Author asked, liking the sound of Anna’s new title.

She smiled at her husband, she didn't know what all to trully say. She looked
down for a moment, then put her head up, a grin on her face, one that was pure and sweet. What could she possibly say? She had heard the wizard call
her wise among her years, which gave her a smile, made her believe that she could do anything as long as she put her mind to it.

"Everyone knows that true pain is, some have lost dreams, some have lost there family. We all have lost something, when you lose something no matter what it is, there is no small loss. With the calm that we are in now, away from the enemy, away from everything it is time to stand proud, to not be afraid of change. To not be afraid to feel, to love, the dreams that have faded and the people that you have lost...never forget them, the hardest thing in this world, is to live in it, I will do all that I can as your queen, to be there for each and every one of you"

The crowd cheered. They were happy with their new queen. Author took hold of Anna’s hand and led her through the town. People were cheering and throwing and clapping the whole way to the castle. The new couple was led by a company of Author’s finest knights and best friends to the dinning hall for another feast. This time, though all the tables were set to the sides of the walls so that there was room for dancing. On the raised platform where the head table usually rests was a band of England’s finest minstrels. Author stood eyes wide; this was a surprise even to him.

The band began to play a lovely slow tune. It sounded very beautiful resonating through the hall. Author held out his hand for Anna and said, with a roguish grin: “May I have this dance, my queen?”

Anna sat beside him, seeing how happy he was, she to was very happy, watching people dance she didn't know how to dance very well, so she was a bit worried, sometimes she had two left feet. But she smiled just the same "Yes my king" She said back lovingly, taking his hand as she stood up and took his hand as they went out to the dance floor. She too one of his hands and her other hand on his hip, she felt him do the same, and the dance she was taken by and began to dance beautifully. She was no longer afraid of stepping on his feet since she wasn't doing that and was graceful as well.

"You have made me the happiest woman alive Author" She said softly.

Anna seemed nervous at first, but Author could not see why. Once they started dancing she seemed to know what she was doing very well. Author himself had not learned to dance until he pulled the Sword from the Stone and claimed his birthright at king. Once he was crowned he had to learn to do all the things nobles should know. One of those things was to dance. Up until this moment dancing had only been of passing interest to Author. He was a warrior and had more important things to worry about than dancing, but he did find that the grace and poise he learned in his few dancing lessons helped him gain the same things on the battlefield.

But now he was dancing with Anna; a far more interesting partner than he had ever danced with before. He loved the feel of her soft hands and the curve of her waist, and he thoroughly enjoyed how close they were.

“You have made me the happiest woman alive, Author.” Her words cut into his thoughts, rousing him from the emerald pools that were her eyes.

This time he could not restrain the single tear that filled his eye. Imagine! He, King Author, the greatest king to rule England, a man who had slain man after man on the battlefield, was crying like a child. He will laugh at that thought much later when he remembers this moment.

Right then, however he was too overwhelmed. “Anna, no man, king or commoner, could ever be blessed with a wife as beautiful and thoughtful as yourself. It is you who have made me happy, Anna.” With that he pulled her closer with the hand on her waist gave her a deep kiss.

Anna blushed he thought so highly of her even tho they haven't talked much, haven't spent much time together. But she knew he was a great judge of character. Being a king you have to be, as they moved she couldn't help but smile. When he kissed her deeply, her eyes closed as she allowed Author to lead and she seemed to know where to go from there, following her heart. She enjoyed the feel of his lips against hers. This felt so natural and when the song was over she felt them stop, she opened her eyes as she looked at him, wishing they could get out of there, to spend some alone time together.

The song ended and they parted. It wasn’t until just then that their kiss ended. Some of the other dancers had noticed how long they had been kissing and turned away quickly when Author noticed them looking. He looked back into Anna’s eyes and could think of nothing he would like more than to leave now and go to their chambers. Unfortunately, they had to stay for the duration of the party; one of the annoyances of the court. Over the next few hours, they nibbled on some of the food laid out as Author introduced his queen to some of the lords and ladies. They danced occasionally and had a good time, all in all. The people in Author’s court were all friends of his, all good men and women. Anna met many knights, some of them she had heard of before, like Lancelot, the Brave, and Galahad, the Pure who would soon be off in search of the Holy Grail.

The party endured long after sunset, but it finally ended once the moon was at it’s peak in the sky. It was full and beautiful. Once they left the dinning hall, hand in hand, Author lifted Anna’s small form with ease and carried her to their chambers. The guards there opened the double doors for them, then closed them behind the couple before departing. Author carried Anna through the room and over to the balcony on the other side before setting her down. They looked into the stars together for a few moments before their eyes met once again. Their lips followed suit a moment after.

Anna did enjoy the party, very much so, she had never done this in her life but was happy she was able to enjoy such things. After the party she giggled some when he picked her up and went to his chambers, as they passed everything she noticed the balcony. Once her feet met the ground she felt his kiss again. Looking into his eyes she wondered something, bitting her lip for a moment she smiled. Her hands resting on his chest as she began to speak what she thought.

"I love you and im grateful that we are together, I will do everything that I can to please you" She said sweetly she wondered if he wanted an hire, she didn't bring it up afraid of seeming like she was rushing when she would never think of rushing.

“You already please me, Anna.” Author said. “But please, give me the opportunity to please you.” With this, he ran his hand through her soft hair, cradling the back of her head as he pulled her in to another kiss. This one was more intense than the others had been. This kiss carried with it all Author’s wants and desires.

Author’s arm reached around Anna’s waist and pulled her closer to him. She felt his lips leave hers as he bent his head so that he could suck gently on her neck. Author sucked and nibbled gently on his queen’s neck. It didn’t bother him that they were still on the balcony. It overlooked his private garden and no one could be out there to see. He worked his way down, ever so slowly from the top of her neck to her collar bone. Then he began to suck and nibble his way farther down.

Anna smiled, feeling the kiss more deep, more intense, she was happy, but she felt his desire, feeling what he wanted, she couldn't help but smile, but as his lips left hers and went to her neck she let out a soft moan. She moaned his name nothing but pure pleasure. She felt her virgin body against his. She started to pick up on his desires because she desired him. It almost felt like she was going to collapse, she sighed happily.

"I want you Author" She whispered.

Author had kissed his way between her soft breasts, just above where her gown began. He heard her moan, felt her hand on the back of his head as she leaned into his face. Then he heard her tell him that she wanted him. All these things worked like some sort of alchemy in him. He felt his erection swell.

Author left her wonderful breasts and met her lips once again. His big arms reached around her and undid the knot holding Anna’s dress up

Anna rested her hands on his chest as he began to undress her she did the same thing. She felt her dress falling, soon her dress was pooling where her feet where, her body young and perfect, she only her white panties was on her body. She sighed a bit removing his tunic he had on, seeing his marvelous chest, she leaned in her lips on his chest as she kissed his chest.
