He finally went to Bean Town to visit with a Hepatic Specialist. The report he received was very encouraging.
The M.D. told him t6hat according to the test results he had seen my father will have a complete recovery, although it will take some time.
He also stated that the Rheumatologist my father had been seeing, and who had prescribed the meds he was on had screwed up with their not requiring frequent blood tests. He even went so far as to put this in writing.
My father also reported that his appetite has returned and that he is eating once again. (This is a good thing as my father has lost a bit over 30 pounds.)
All in all good news.
