Health Care Under Obama

Someone want to give Vette a crash course in the post hoc fallacy? I'm on vacation, and even if I wasn't, I'd be too bored to make the effort.

Why insist on using a big name drug when the equivalent generic would do the same thing at a tenth of the cost.

Lipitor = big money per month.

Prevastatin = Same basic compound, inexpensive.

Makes sense to me..

Expensive orphan drugs, no generic for those.

Why does anyone think that healthcare coverage would have remained exactly the same without Obamacare, when it's been going downhill for the past few decades?

Lol, American health care.

American Healthcare is not the problem and never has been. In fact I contend that it is the best healthcare in the world.

It's Healthcare Insurance that needs to be fixed and the way it works across state lines.

The OP has nothing at all to do with Obamacare or Obama. And I'm perfectly fine with states steering patients toward generic drugs. That should have happened a long time ago.

The amusing part is that Vette is now accusing Obamacare of saving too much money at no cost to patients or doctors. That's a bad thing when a Democrat is in power.

Nope. The PROBLEM is there's no general agreement for what healthcare oughta be.

And there never will be because that's not a realistic goal.

Vette's really quite confused over the whole thing though. He refuses to even acknowledge that he's getting by on socialized medical coverage through Medicare because he has a Medicare HMO (private insurance paid for by Medicare as a substitute for Medicare).

The most important 5%.

Obviously, if there IS no generic or equivalent compound then you would have to use brand name... But that is not what the original post is about either, is it?

I would post a recent personal situation in this thread about Medicaid but the OP is a cowardly fuckstick so there is no point in posting it, it would shut him the fuck up right quick.
