“As a publisher,” Simon and Schuster’s statement continued, “it will always be our mission to amplify a variety of voices and viewpoints. At the same time we take seriously our larger public responsibility as citizens, and cannot support Senator Hawley after his role in what became a dangerous threat to our democracy and freedom.”

Facebook, American Express Join Other Major Companies Suspending Donations To Republicans Involved In Biden Certification Challenge
even Hallmark want their money back!Hotel giant Marriott International, the health insurance network Blue Cross Blue Shield and bank holding company Commerce Bancshares were the first to indefinitely suspend donations ...
CitiBank and JPMorgan Chase & Co (at least 6 months)
...
Goldman Sachs, Boston Scientific and Facebook (as reported by Axios) all said they will suspend political giving to both parties pending reviews, while American Express and Dow, one of the largest chemical companies in the world, are halting donations to the Republican objectors specifically.
Dow, in what appears to be the most punitive response of the bunch, said it will not donate to any member of Congress who objected to the Electoral College certification for the duration of their terms in office:
Bank of America, Ford Motor Co. and AT&T all said they will take recent events into consideration before making future donations, while CVS Health Corp., Exxon Mobil, FedEx and Target said they are reviewing their political giving.
