Hello! I'm trying to write a little romance novella as a gift for a friend. It won't be explicitly erotic. Mostly just fun and a little smutty hehe :)

I am not used to writing anything longer than short stories! I'm aiming for something around 100-150 pages - I want to be able to print it out and get it bound as a book for her. However, I am having trouble outlining because I do not have a good concept of how much room I will have to tell the story. I am thinking of having two potential love interests because I think it gives me some room to play around. I am really excited to force myself to try to write something longer but I am also nervous!

Does anyone have any experience writing stories that length? Any tips? Thank you in advance if anyone has any advice! I really appreciate it!

I'd advise you to pick your plot, write the story, and worry about story length later. You can always edit and make it shorter. For ideas, just poke around on the site. There are tons of stories of all kinds.

I'm not sure if this is quite what you're looking for, but here's a story of mine that might help get you started, about two good friends who fall in love.

But like I said, there are plenty of stories to read here.
