So I'm sitting here in front of my computer listening to several somewhat sappy/bittersweet songs on mp3 and thinking of a very special someone whom I'm missing terribly. When my mind suddenly hit upon an idea stemming from one of my new favorite movies; "High Fidelity" starring John Cusack.

So for all the hopeless romantics in the house such as myself, let me pose this question; What are, in your opinion, the Top 5 romantic/sappy/bittersweet songs? This doesn't have to be in any particular order. Be prepared to defend your selections.

Since I'm starting this thread, I guess I'll go first.

1. "All I Want Is You" by U2
2. "Yours" by Blues Traveler
3. "Call and Answer" by Barenaked Ladies
4. "Crush" by Dave Matthews Band
5. "Yesterday" by The Beatles

OK, now it's time to hear from the rest of the hopeless romantics...

My top 5 ...

I think the song is called "I Will Remember You"

I thought of 2 more:

"The Other Man" - Sloan (Can't believe I forgot that one when it probably tugs at my emotions the most right now)

&

"Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" - U2
