There were several peaks throughout the last two years that pushed it further into semantic mediocrity, but the last time it significantly peaked was around the end of spring/beginning of summer. DeSantis sort of re-re-saturated it in media with his hyper-adrenaline drive to outshine Cheeto, which he fumbled the ball on in bombastic fail fashion. With that, its further use as an attack term became incredibly flaccid and banal. Remember this peak cringe fail by his wife?

another reason is that the RW outrage machine hasn't found a term to properly replace it with to rejuvenate the masses from the boredom of over-familiarity. They're not good at hijacking and repurposing Black American slang they're not privy to. "Woke" took DECADES to flip from AAVE. The media machine wants things immediately to consume, it is not patient to wait for nurturing and development.

It's virtually toxic to use as official propaganda for issues in media, but the final collapse of Cheeto is what will actually choke it into oblivion. When he goes, an entire universe of bullshit will fall apart and I can't wait to see it happen in real time.

DeSantis sounding like a cry baby while quoting Trump with no original thought of his own did DeSantis in. He should have stayed even and not distanced himself from Trump. At first DeSantis as VP looked like there could be 12 years of prosperity for America and the world. Now we still don't have a good VP pick. I liked Scott for a while but he got too preachy. Haley is a RINO Turncoat. The rest of them are as real as Kennedy? The only person running for any party is Trump. All others have proven without a doubt to be useless on the world stage.
