Have you made your New Year's Resolution list?

I need to stop being a hermit.

And I need to stop procrastinating.

Fuck....I'll do those next year. Anyway...no! I'm good!

I resolve to leave all anger and bitterness, towards my now ex-wife, behind me when the clock strikes midnight.

Mine:

1. Continue my sobriety.

2. Start dating again - without getting laid being the foremost thing on my mind.

3. Parachute out of a plane ......just once to face my fear of heights.

4. See a Cubs game at Wrigley Field. (Still haven't done that. Been on the list for 3 years now)

5. Be more daring and risk taking.

6. Break down the emotional wall I have built and let people in.

7. Buy a motorcycle and take long trips on the back roads.

8. Explore the local activities and mingle - HS games, local baseball, parades, etc.

9. Dust off the old fishing rod and camping gear and disappear for a few days.

10. Finish my contractual agreement with employer and step down as Project Manager.

Well......shit. Good luck.

In the event that this was a BS list, you're an ass for making me read it all and giving me a semi-warm fuzzy.

I need to lose weight but not sure what I am going to shoot for? 40 pounds maybe. I need to go about this and be smart.

I'd like to get fit again and I'd really like to leave all of 2011's bullshit at the door. Welcome 2012.

Thanks. (Tickles Grace's warm fuzzy).

Not trying to get teary and mushy, but dealing with alcoholism has been my most personal and horrific battle.I did not like the person I had become several years ago. Only a recovering alcoholic or drug addict can understand some of what I posted there. It is unlike any battle a person can face in their life, once they choose to take control of their lives. For me, it is a combination of extreme self-control and faith in something greater than all of us.

Time for me to face other fears and new challenges while having fun.:)

Nope, I don't do resolutions. If it is something I should be doing, I try to do it all year long. Not just start in January.

I accidentally quit smoking in late 2010 and went from 190 to 230 this year.
I'll drop the 40 simply by losing the sweet tooth. I'm even starting a day early.

I really could stand to lose more but it took me years to get where I am so it will take me a couple of years to get it off. I'm shooting to take off a few pounds every time I go to the Dr. I think it's a good goal for me. :)

put on 10 pounds
start smoking
have less sex
eat worse
get less sleep
get less done around the house
make less money

that looks doable

I am giving up the titties.

Damn titties.

*cries* and I made a titty vid 'specially for you!

I'm going to try and get into a better routine for study than last time.

I'm also going to try and remember to do my stretches.
