Okay now, enquiring minds are curious. It's Friday, I'm tired and bored. I thought I would come up with this poll. The subject is, "Have you lied to your sub or Dom lately?" You can vote for more than one answer. So if you answer yes, post what for and why.

He keeps bugging me about what I'm going to do on our anniversary, and so I laid a false trail.

I can not lie to my Sir...we have been together (as best friends, as lovers, as fighting partners) for almost 3 years...lying would just be a waste. Not only that but we are poly, how can lies help that? My petling and I have the same issue. We have known each other for years. We are also poly, lying makes things too difficult to keep track of.

Nope, haven't lied to her, (neither the old her or the prospective her) and won't. I will try to soften the truth when it hurts, but actual lying, not an option. (Unless I'm dealing with a discipline type issue. In which case I WANT it to hurt, so they'll remember it!)

Two reasons why I don't. One it's a waste of breath and when caught destroys any trust and two I'd always get caught since my memory is sooooo rotten. *g

I lie to just about everyone else in my life at some point so its refreshing not to lie to Him. Besides if he found out it would break apart the relationship we have.

Hmmm is lies by ommission still lieing?
I often don't tell Him information if I think it will hurt Him for example other peoples comments on various issues including our relationship.
