I spent, like, half an hour typing a thread about Conservatism(On the Why do Conservatives suck thread) and have not gone back to check on it. I doubt people responded however.

Wow, I usually have so little time, but last night I found a whole bunch of stuff and a lot of it was very good and I should have responded to it.

It's kinda the proliferation of threads. There was a time, not too long ago, where it seemed like there were 4,000 silly-ass threads, not that there's anything wrong with that sort of thing, I support everyone having a silly ass time, but it is better now!

Laurel, I'm pretty sure your not alone in doing that, like cymbidia said, it's all part of the BB game.

I'm sure that most of us that post, understand that people can't always get back to something they've said, I mean hell Laurel most of can't keep up with what we post, how can you expect us to answer something

But I've even done this on flirting threads, and I really worry I might have hurt someone's feelings when I've done that. Half a page of back and forth and suddenly, nothing???? Makes you wonder what you did or didn't do.

Have you ever read the last post on a thread and jumped in with your opinion only to find later that you were totally wrong and should have read the whole thread, except you were too lazy or in too big a hurry to do it?

Yes. I remain embarassed to this day by the memory of every time it's ever happened.

Unfortunately, until they pry my puter out of my cold dead hands, i'll continue to do it every so often; such is sometimes my way since patience is not my strong suit. Maybe those kinda irregularly spaced humiliations is the universes' way of keeping me humble?
