Have you ever suddenly had an urge to be romantic?

While I was wishing Killermuffin a happy birthday, I honestly wished I could send her a single red rose along with a card. Of course for me that would be impossible, not least because I live so far away, but more that I wouldn't know where to send it anyway.

Have you ever felt this urge to be romantic, and unlike me did you follow the urge up with a romantic gesture?

Carl!

In answer to your question....
Yes and no.
Yes, I've had the urge. No, I haven't acted on it. I don't know why.

I never get the urge to be romantic, as I think you are saying it. But I try always to be romantic from the start.

Once in a while.

It's usually because someone brings it out in me, not that it hits me on its own.

Make sense? lol

Its the thought that counts.

All the time. Anyone know where to get flowers at this time of night?

I tend to be romantic the majority of the time. Then again, I have to sleep sometime

Having not been romanced often in my life, I am still unfamiliar with it - but I do get urges at times to be romantic to others.

yes i always have the urge.

i always want to serenade my female friends and dance with them to make them feel special.

my only impulse urge i can remember, is the time i met a girl on holiday while snowboarding in bulgaria and we went our seperate ways when we got back apart from a phone call a week later when she said she was down and in need of a hug. i hung up and got on a train, travelled 200miles and turned up on her doorstep 4hrs later to give her that hug. she cried.

it made her feel special so it made me feel good.

I have found that when I'm with someone I truly care about, being romantic is just a natural effect of the relationship. I like to do things that show the other person that I care about him.

Personally, I'm a sucker for love notes, candlelight and the occasional delivery of roses. ;)
