Have you ever ordered one?

As a long-time mechanic, I've ordered a lot of parts from a lot of the national chains. And some were rather, how shall I put it, unusual. But I've never had the opportunity to order a 121G from O'Reilly's. Have you ever, or heard of anyone who has? I assume there will be many who don't know what the heck I'm on about, so here's a link to O'Reilly's page. Just type 121G into the search bar.

...okay then?

This reminds me of:
ā€œBut the plans were on displayā€¦ā€
ā€œOn display? I eventually had to go down to the cellar to find them.ā€
ā€œThat’s the display department.ā€
ā€œWith a flashlight.ā€
ā€œAh, well, the lights had probably gone.ā€
ā€œSo had the stairs.ā€
ā€œBut look, you found the notice, didn’t you?ā€
ā€œYes,ā€ said Arthur, ā€œyes I did. It was on display in the bottom of a locked filing cabinet stuck in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying ā€˜Beware of the Leopard.ā€

You got me!

I love the description:

Detailed Description

  • Time Travel at your own RISK!
  • Plutonium is required to properly operate the flux capacitor
    • Plutonium is used by the onboard nuclear reactor which then powers the flux capacitor to provide the needed 1.21 gigawatts of electrical power.
    • Plutonium not available and O'Reilly Auto Parts. Please contact your local plutonium supplier.
  • Flux capacitor requires the stainless steel body of a 1981-1983 DeLorean DMC-12 to properly function.
    • Once the time machine travels at 88 mph (142 km/h), light coming from the flux capacitor pulses until it becomes a steady stream of light at which point time travel begins!

I wonder what the marketing team is going to think when they see a spike of hits from here.
Someone is trying to build a nitro-fueled, time-riding, super-charged vibrator that pops into existence at odd, indeterminate times to tickle the libido of the unwary (but lucky) before disappearing on its way to the next encounter, maybe? Just a guess at their thoughts, not at all based on what I would think.

I'm still waiting for the right model DeLorean before I buy that.
