Have you ever been to a movie that was so bad you walked out of the theater?

Have you ever been to see a movie that was so awful that you literally walked out of the theater long before the film was over?

I have, twice.

These movies were the following.

1. The Grudge 2
2. House Of The Dead

There's been a few other bad movies that I almost walked out on, but none of which have been quite as bad as those two.

I can't remember the name, but it turned out to be gay porn, it was a very misleading title; I expected coeds...

Oh, yeah.

"Pretty Woman"

I thought it was the dumbest thing I'd ever seen. The so-called "plot" was so ridiculously stupid and predictable that it was an insult to anybody's intelligence. The required "suspension of disbelief" was beyond my capacity. Richard Gere's lines were so dumb that my patience was exhausted. They were clearly written by someone who didn't have the slightest clue what he was talking about.

The whole thing was a farce.

Somebody recommended the movie to me. I've never forgiven them. I'd have been embarrassed if anybody had recognized me in the theatre.

Caligula ,despite some great actors being in it ,is the one I remember being so bad that I left before the halfway mark .There have been others where I wanted to ,but stayed because of wanting to see the main feature .

it has happen and ive done it plenty of times.

the last movie i walked out on was the last exorcism movie... forgot the name

Years ago the infamous "Crybaby" with Johnny Depp. Not even Traci Lords could save it.

Only other thing I ever walked out of was when my wife and I had season tickets to the Providence Performing arts center we walked out at intermission on "Nunsense"

I tend not to go and see things unless I know I will like it.
That said there were a few movies on my 'maybe list' that I saw on DVD later that I would have walked out on.
One of those being Watchmen. 3 hours of my life I'll never get back.
In Bruges. Terrible, terrible film. Billed as a comedy but had zero funny moments.
The 5 Year Engagement. Again, supposed to be funny. Wasn't. It did feel like 5 years passed while watching it though, so they got that part right.

Passion of the Christ is the absolute worst movie I've ever seen.

In my opinion, it was a dark dreary "snuff" film. Horrible.

I would have walked out, but the lady I was with liked it.

Two of the worst...

Runaway Bride. The people who I went with thought it was wonderful and hilarious, and I was their ride home. I just slipped into the neighboring theater at the multi-plex and spared my sanity. That was one god-awful movie. Have not been able to watch Julia Roberts since.

Also, I fell asleep during Raiders of the Lost Arc, when some other friends forced me to go with them. I can't stand being at a movie where I am fully conscious of every manipulative ploy used by the film-maker.

Yeah, about 20 years ago.

My friend and I went and saw The Addam's Family. It was a train wreck.

Anyway, when we left we decided to tell the box office attendant that I wasn't feeling very well. Thankfully, I have a sickly look about me and we were able to get our money back.

Being a gimp ain't all bad.

Naw, it would be rude to those I wen to the movie with, so I chow down my popcorn and just take a nap.

I fell asleep the last time. I was very tired.

I can't even remember what it was called. The Harley Quinn one. Margot Robbie. Hella sexy Aussie chick.

I just googled. Suicide Squad.

The sound of thunder was pretty atrocious, but I didn't walk out on it because I was in awe of how bad it was.

It had CGI (computer generated images) that looked like it was from 1995.

In Bruges was an excellent movie. Hugely comic but not for low IQ types I suppose.

Blade runner is one of my fav.
(after the novel "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" by P. Dick)

Has that special effects and comercial element to it but doesn't compromise when it comes to depth.
Whereas most sci-fi movies address the question: "Am I human or not?" (human versus android and so on),
Blade runner addresses the question: "What does it mean to be human?"

I very rarely ever go to a movie in the theaters unless I know something about it before hand and really want to see it.

I'm not the kind of guy that spends that kind of money on a whim.

I will wait until a certain movie is out to rent If i feel like i would maybe watch it but can handle waiting.

but I've never walked out of the theater I haven't seen that terrible of a movie in the theaters......I have rented some off low budgets movies and stopped them halfway through because they weren't any good.
