I was just wondering if anybody here posting pictures here on Lit have been rezognized in real life? If so, how did you handle it?

im kinda worried people will recognize me...if they did i might just act stupid and pretend not to know what they are talkin about...i worry sometimes because some men have looked at me like they've seen me naked and kinda like i should recognize em but i dont look at em and i keep walkin...

OMG not yet, thankfully! And I do work with the public, I am waiting for someone to look at me rubbing their chin ... "Do I know you from somewhere?"

LOL, how awkward right? Nobody has recognized me, but then, I don't post my face.

Not from here but....

We haven't been recognized from here but on another pic posting site we have been. It was not a good situation and the people that found out about it had a heyday making sure that everyone that we knew were aware of our "horrible things that we wer doing".

But the saying.... 'people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones' has so much relevance here.

Anyway we are still around and having fun.

I never post pics from me and my GF, but if I would be recognized, well that's ok, for me it's good to know that othere people also visit LIT ;)

Fortunatly I havent been recognized , but just the opposite . I wandered into a thread shortly after joining LIT , and recognized the woman as a former classmate . We were the best of friends way back when , but I was surely caught between a rock and a hard place after seeing the explicit pics of my former friend . I lurked for several weeks , then finally decided what the hell , and pm'ed her a " happy birthday" when it came around ... yes , it was extremely uncomfortable at first , filled with OMG's and no fuckin ways .... but now , we laugh about it and exchange pics via e-mail quite often ...lol

So they went around telling everyone about it? How did they explain how they found the pictures in the first place? It seems like it would be more on them than anyone else since they're the ones against it, but yet they were looking at the pictures!

I hate stupid people.

it wouldn't bothered me if a local lady did, it would break the conversational ice much easier.

Since I do not post my face, I have never been recognized. But I have had the situation where someone in my life has come to Lit and recognized me. It was my husband's best friend and I had told him about Lit a long time ago because he enjoys erotic stories. I never even thought about it when I decided to start posting photos, and he wandered onto my thread. He recognized something in the background of one of my pictures and then put two and two together based on my hair, lips, and proportions! But he became a big fan and it's not too awkward really. The hubby knows about it too, so it's all good!

when I first came upon this site several years ago and under a different name i posted pics that were recognizes where I live. I handled it by taking my pics off the sight because we live in a fairly small town and we own a business we want to have continue to grow. I have participated in other ways here with posts and have thought about putting new pics up but probably never will again and that makes me very sad

A couple of years ago I got text messages from someone. I never did find out who or how they got my mobile number! I got half a dozen messages and then it ended.
Spooky.

I take some great care to not let myself be "discovered" by people, which is no small task given my frequent webcamming, but almost everyone understands the shyness, and so far no bad news ;)

I have been recognized before but not from the lit site.. It was from another I belonged to a while ago. Turned out the person who did 'find me out" was a college prof I had for a history class. She was pretty cool about it considering I always gave her such a hard time (just in good fun of course) She told me at my size I could never get lost in a crowd lol

That's kinda hot... Course I have a thing for teachers/authority figures.

Yes, long ago on another site...

Yes, before we realized the 'reach' of the web, we posted some of my pix on a few other sites. Well, we learned better!

We stopped posting pix with my face showing and were careful to make sure nothing in the background gave me away.

We also have a drawer full of wigs AND a box with different rings! People might recognize my rings but we figure they'd probably not guess that I'd change 'wedding rings'.

What do you think?

Well she was a rather attractive woman with a great sense of humor.

I recognized someone once from another site. At first she seemed confused, but then thought it was hysterical.

I've received a few looks that made me wonder.... and I've met a few people from here. Actually, I was with my Dominant and we were asked how we met (from here). LOL He left it up to me to answer.... we laugh about the truth, and usually leave it a vague "Oh, the internet...." ;)

But if someone recognizes me... I'd atleast hope they would ask for my autograph. LOL

*giggles*

I know the look you mean. I've gotten quite a few times when I work the drive thru. That "I know her...but where from? oh I know!....no that couldn't be it...could it?" Look *giggles* In my bolder days I was tempted to ask "you think you regognize me?" But I never did and now I just give a wink.

Hey will you sign these panties?

Hi Coy.. hope your well

Yes and no. I was either having hearing problems, or they really did recognize me - but I just looked at them weird and walked off really fast. But it was in a creepy subway in NYC, and hardly anyone else was around - so I didn't even want to get myself into a bad situation if I could help it.

But it does worry me - because I have this damn tattoo on my chest that is so recognizable - and I'm not afraid to show my face, etc. So it scares me sometimes, and I wonder how I would handle it - but eh. I try not to worry too much, because all that does is make me want to delete every picture of me on this site :(

I once had some guy PM me pretending to know me. He didn't but it freaked me out so bad I went away for a couple of months.
