I am totaly shocked at what I have been reading on this board for the last 3 or so weeks. I have been going through very emotinal problems myself at the moment - which is not about this board either. Even though I am going through very hard times, I will never attack or be crual to any one on this board like almost every one else on this board.
I will not point the finger, or say names. But I am talking about every one. At some point in the past, or yet to come, you have attacked some one, let it be intensional or not, it still happened or will happen.
So what if someone is gay? Those that person being like that effect or hurt you in any way? No it doesn't. If a man has sex with another man in the privacy of his own home, does that hurt or efdfect you? If it is two women having sex, does that hurt or effect you? If it is a man and a woman, does it hurt or effect you? If it is a man and a animal, does it hurt or effect you? If it is a woman and a animal, does it hurt or effect you? If it is a man and some toys, does that hurt or effect you? If it is a woman and some toys, does it hurt or effect you? NO[/B[] it does not, nor does it have anything to do with you.
This is a board for adults, and yet, I am to see a muture person on this board. Grow up and act like an adult. No matter what a person likes sexualy or what every, it does not effect you, so just let it go.
For fuucks sake, this is a porn board, of course their is going to be people with all diffrent type of sexual things they like. Just because it is not the same as yours, that does not, and will never give you the right to attack that person. If you do not like it, or if your not willing to accept the diffrance in people, then you should not be on aporn board.

This is a porn board. There are people whom like things others will find sick. There are things I find sick, but do I go attacking that person for what that person likes? No I don't, I accept what do like and I just talk about something else with that person. Just because a person may like something you find sick, does not mean you have to talk about it or attack that person.
If you are not welling to accept peoples likes in sexual types or what ever, do not attack them, then you should seriously rethink if you should be at a porn board.

You didn't understand my post, DCL. I don't want everyone to be the same and hold hands. What I was saying is that we are all diffrent, and to stop attacking other people because they are diffrent. If everyone liked the same thing, we would be boring.

There is always going to be other people whom like diffrent things, don't attack them because you do not like what they do.

Okay let me just say that I have no clue what's going on ... I haven't been around these parts lately too know.

However just having read your Post DCL, I will agree with you DCL.

Snuggle Bunny, you've made your point sweetheart, but the world is a cruel nasty place, and some of us don't always agree what others do. Yes it would be a boring world if we were all the same, and that my friend is why we have fighting in the world, we NEED to be different in ways that make us unique.

I don't agree with things that happen in the world, on the BB or in a Chat room for instance, and I can stand on the highest mountain and voice my concerns and opinions just like the person doing the things I don't agree with.

The one thing being here and not spending as much time here as I used too have taught me is that we have the right to dislike and stand up for that right as the person who is disliking the disliking.

Shit happens, it's how YOU deal with it that counts.

It DOESN'T happen all the time. You're just focusing on thse few threads where it is happening. There are plenty of good, silly, intelligent conversations going on in all the forums (okay, maybe not the Personals Forum). I know. I've been taking part in them.

It's like a car wreck on the Interstate. Millions of cars and hundreds of miles, but all you remember when you get home is the four car pile up at Exit 14.

Honeychild, I HAVE been around these parts and I STILL have no idea WTF happened today. Nor do I think I really want to know. Hopefully it'll blow over and we'll be back to our happy, sarcastic selves.

There were 2 or 3 weirdly emotional threads today. Outside of those, I don't see the pattern of hostility you're referring to, SB. In fact, in the last few days, there's been several times when upset BB members have sought comfort here - Angel, Never, DA, others - and have found plenty of support. There's been the same flirting, debate, trolling as always. Today was a little...weird...but I don't think that the tension between a handful of posters constitutes overall negativity. Maybe I'm missing something (wouldn't be the first time, or the last).

I'm just sick of the people who consistently act so darn high and mighty. I'll never understand why they feel the need to critique everything that people post. Some people look to incite arguments left and right. I just avoid them. There are always going to be bad eggs in the bunch. You just have to learn to live with it.

It's amazing that people can take one paragraph, break it into tiny little pieces, and feel the need to condemn each thought. You know who you are. You're the people who quote line 1, add a comment. Quote line 2, add another comment. Quote line 3, add some more jabber. Time to step off your high horse. Remember those little things they tried to teach you in kindergarten? If you don't have something nice to say, maybe you could keep it to yourself.

Let's break this board down:

-Some of us come here to post and have a good time. We laugh alot and post silly little things. It is a way to get away from the stress and hassle of everyday life. Some people get annoyed with the ever-cheerful posters. Know what? You can ignore them.

-Some people come here because they want attention. Some of their posts are downright friendly, some are helpful, some are borderline rude, and some go way past all rudeness boundaries. If their posts catch your eye or make you think, they've met their goal. The more you post to their threads, the better they feel. That's just fine and dandy. You like some, you don't like some. It's that simple. If you don't like 'em, know what? You can ignore them.

-Some people come here solely for the art of debate. You know who they are. They are the ones that attack political threads, as well as non-political threads, with a vengeance. Sometimes their posts are aimed at proving a point, other times they get personal and trod on peoples feelings. A good debate is one that sparks peoples tempers and really makes them think. If you don't like 'em, know what? You can ignore them.

People come to Lit for an endless list of reasons. Some people will easily fit into more than one of my categories. Some people have their own reasons. I appreciate all the people who have doled out advice when I needed it. I love it when posters make me laugh. I enthusiastically read about people's real-life stories. I love making friends on the boards, especially those that eventually extend past posting. Even if I disagree with something that someone posts, I can still find some reason to respect the person behind that simple post.

These discords happen in real life. The posters here are real people. Therefore, it's safe to assume that interactions on the boards won't be any different than those you encounter in everyday life. You're gonna have to face facts. There will be some people you like and some you dislike. You are going to have your ups and your downs, just as everyone else on the board will have their moments. If you're having a crappy day, maybe it isn't wise to post a million things. Your feelings aren't as strong as usual, so you have an immediate disadvantage. If you're having a great day, feel free to hand out compliments right and left. Chances are that you'll make someone's day.

Moral of my post? Let's have more happy threads.

And please don't make me be serious again. Time to go flirt.

I am not talking about Tiggs alone. What happend with Tiggs is only one little part, there is more. There has been attacks done on other people.
