HAVE MERCY,,,i almost got rear ended!

FUCCKKKKK,,,,was going down the road,,husband driving,,,,the car in front of us(red Honda)...just STOPPED,,,husuband stopped,,,(honda was trying to make a left turn,,,I glanced up in the vanity mirror,,and I see this HUGE white truck barreling down the road,,in my mind,,,holy fuck,,,he is going to hit us,,,,fuck fuck fuck,,,,,i hear him slam on brakes,,,,,the loudest screeech i have ever heard,,,,,,he was maybe a centimeter from my cars rear end,,,,,,,came home,,,HAD to pour a glass of wine for that,,,anyone else have close calls like this?

Yeah - it seems like people have been driving worse over the last few days. No one driving the wrong way down one-way streets in the last few weeks, though, which is unusual...

no, SA they drive too slow so wouldn't do much damage if ya got rear ended LOL many a time I've driving 410 and some dumbarse is doin 60 in the fast lane - damn that's the slow lane up here in Austin ...you do that here, you get run off the road since normal traffic flow here (when it's not rush hour) is about 80-90 LOL

You want to hear close calls?
I stopped for coke at a convience store. I went in and started filling the cup.
I went up to pay and no one was there to take my money. I walked out
looking around for the clerk. All of a sudden from across the street and up
a hill,I hear lots of people yelling at me,GET OUT OF THERE!!!! While i had
been in the store,a semi had crashed into one of the gas pumps setting it
and another pump and the truck on fire!! The clerk had run out to save his
own rear,not thinking to inform the two of us still in the store. Just as I
crossed the street,the explosions started happening.

I had an experience recently very similar to Sinnamon's. On the way to school, kids in the car squabbling, I was distracted and didn't notice the car in front of me stopping abruptly. There was no time to stop, so had I not been able to swerve into the breakdown lane, I would have triggered a chain-reaction I'm sure. That was sobering even for the kids.
