Hey Jon,
to answer your question...Probably! At that, isn't most of the stuff we post or read here rather tasteless?
While Celebrity stories usually are not my 'cuppa' (word I came up with somewhere or other) I think you did a great job with this one. And, who's to say, perhaps a "Charley" did have an interesting adventure that wild night! I know I didn't, I was but fourteen that eventful day. Well, I DID hook a couple of nice Small Mouth Bass while fishing from a leaking rowboat and drinking hard cider and listening to sirens wail all evening!

I am glad that I brought back some memories of that day for you. Having had personal experience of leaky old boats that adolescents used to use for fishing. I am not surprised you didn't score. (Mine had a single cylinder Lister exconcrete mixer engine and water spurted through the garboards on every firing stroke).
