How completely and utterly annoying living in an apartment can be at times. Has everyone got fucking nuts this morning?!?!? 4:30 am neighbor 1 gets up to shower. Not a short shower mind you, I'm soooooo happy I can hear the water running while I lie in bed. Neighbor 1 finishes. Ok...I can still sleep for another Neighbor 1 1/2 hours. Neighbor 2 gets up decides to take a shower at 4:45...bang, crash, clang. 5:00am Neighbor 1 decides now is a great fucking time to do laundry. Why would anyone want to sleep at this hour? I'll just run everything I can in my fucking house without a thought as to who I'll wake up. Did I mention I couldn't get to sleep last night and that it was 2:00am before I finally fell asleep. How much sleep is that. Yes boys and girls that is 2 1/2 hours and now I get to drag my ass to work for 8 hours. I am just so excitied. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Appartment life

I grew up in apartments with my Brother, MOm and Dad. I now live in a house and I am telling my kids that they have to be quiet. Not that they actually do but I just remember that when you live in an apartment you have to be considerate of your neighbors. Most ppl just don't get this.

pb, I totally sympathize with you and understand your frustration. I have upstairs neighbors that walk around like a herd of buffalos. They have been asked to keep their neighbors in mind but have only gotten worse. I have been on the phone and the person I have been talking to asks me what the noise is! The head of my bed borders on the neighbor's bathroom on the side..........I so enjoy that one of them gets up in the middle of the night and showers before work. Time to invest in earplugs..........( earplugs won't, however, help with the upstairs neighbors...........).
