The line about Christian love and fellowship is from a TV show, actually. It's something I say in real life, and it wasn't meant to be a slam on religion of any form.

The rest? It cannot be explained or defended - certainly not now after the fact - and there's really no point. Disagreements happen around here all the time. And they should be allowed to happen.

I respect your right to defend EL just as I respect my right to my own opinion.

I'm making a comment on this thread, this one right here. I've read this and it hurts me. I'm not saying who is wrong, who is right. I'm just saying how I feel and apparently, I have the right to do that, no matter what.

I just wish everyone could give the other posters here respect. Of course we're not all going to agree on everything and of course sometimes someone's point of view is going to rub us up completely the wrong way -that's life.


I just want people to get on, I just want the AH to be a welcoming place for everyone because I've loved the AH for so long. We care here, we rally together to help and comfort, we make people smile, we brighten up the saddest of folks. We have a whole depth of love here that is unique -I've never found it any other online community. I want people to come in to the AH and see this, this love that makes this place so, so good. I don't want them to see insults, bullying and nastiness because that is what leads us round to those regular "The AH is a clique" threads.

I love each and every poster, here. I might not always agree with them all or even like them all but I love the whole damn lot of you because you make up the AH somewhere worth being. I react because I care, I care so damn much.

So, I will call for peace, I will call for understanding and I will call for peace. I will keep calling till I'm hoarse because I love the AH.
