I'm not sure what the haunting is all about, and if it includes ghosts.

Perhaps a variation could be a group of people (I don't know, lets say some sort of ancient tribesmen) place a curse upon somebody (I don't know, lets say some sort of western journalist) as some form of revenge (I don't know, lets say for accidentally violating a local custom of politeness).

The only way the curse can be lifted is by sex with those dishing out the curses.

In above said scenario, perhaps it could be enhanced by the magic required meaning that possession or things like hairs of the cursee having to be collected and put in a cauldron - I'm thinking vudu style (or at least the image of vudu that the media has made me familiar with).

thats good i was thinking only about ghost not vudu but she must try to knew who did the magic and why
