I started typing, then realized this probably deserves its own thread.

In a bar, a stairwell ends at a solid wall. Once upon a time. The single-story bar was a two-story bordello until a tornado removed the second floor on a payday at the nearby factory, when the place was at its busiest. In modern times, several drunk friends decide that it is unreasonable for this particular bar to be closed during prime party time, and one of them knows how to pick locks.
