I feel like Centrist/Democrats are having a Streisand effect moment. Raging against some random Twitch streamer so hard that people who never knew about him two months ago are seeing him on legacy news networks.

One week running a hit piece over his 911 comments and another week praising him for his humanitarian work in Cuda.

He used to sit around d 25 to 30k live viewers back when I was paying attention. I assume he's gained more popularity since then. And I won't be surprised if this latest outrage gets him more support.

It will be interesting to look over his YouTube and Twitch subscriber growth in a few months.

He has quite a following...similar to some of the right wing streamers in numbers. I haven't even attempted to listen to him, as all of his viewpoints that people talking about him have described are disgusting. If someone describes a train wreck, I don't need to see it

The argument within left leaning circles has been whether the moderate left should court his followers to increase their political capital. Most notably Tim Miller and the Bulwark crew recently had an entire podcast arguing the point, and didn't really come to an agreement.

This thread just demonstrated that the maga fucks continue to misunderstand the left....which demonstrates why we see so many freak outs over random leftie tiktokers being posted as new threads here.
