Has anyone here every been an inbound call center rep?

I have a question

I'm trying to update my resume, but I'm not sure what to put down for the job description part.. most example resumes these days show stuff like what you accomplished for the company.. and I didn't accomplish anything. I just did my job, and made my customers happy (even though that seems to be against company policy )

What kind of stuff could be listed in that section?

Been there, done that...

Here's what I have used on some of mine... pretty much the same but somewhat taylored to the specific type of company.

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
Maintained accounting records for customer accounts, generated billing, and performed collections on delinquent balances. Promoted the sale of cellular phone products and services, assisted customers with their selections of cellular services. Responded to customer telephone calls regarding problems with cellular service, troubleshoot system failures, and worked with Internal Service Representatives to resolve problems.

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
Maintained accounting records for customer accounts, generated billing, and performed collections on delinquent balances. Promoted the sale of core products and services, and assisted customers with their selection of cable services, telephone services, and computer products. Responded to customer telephone calls regarding problems with cable service, troubleshoot system failures, and worked with Dispatch and Field Service Representatives to resolve problems.

How about... "I performed this postion as outlined in the job description while striving to maintain complete customer satisfaction"...?

I spent 8-1/2 years as a transportation manager... most job descriptions are just a play of words anyways.
