Has anyone gotten a new cell phone lately?

I just got one and they did a shit job explaining the basics on how to do things. I had to look up on the web how to set speed dial, how to change the lock screen and several other things. They did include a book but it didn't have any of those things in it.

Yes, I'm bitching.

I kind of like the phone but...it's pissing me off.

They don't come with instruction manuals anymore...
At least not 'smart phones' because they are basically mini tablets with no security.

Burn phones still do though...

Could you recommend a good ap for sexting?

Yep, got the closest thing to a brick I could get, 35 a month.

for $49 a month I get unlimited everything.

I buy used droidx phones for about $65 apiece so they are disposable. They don't use jellybean, and my fox-fi can power my netbook wherever I go.

8megapixel camera, HDMI to the TV.

The only thing that sucks on the phones is... well...using it as a damned phone. That part sucks. Call quality is terrible.

The place I buy most of my electrical goods from has a policy of not including paper manuals 'in the interest of saving the environment'.
Instead, they direct you to a website where you can download and print it yourself.

Not sure how that saves the planet....???

Having a manual with every phone equals MORE paper, because many people won't print the manual themselves. This means LESS paper and the theoretical saving of the environment.

I really like my new iPhone 6. Especially the "Hey Siri" function, that allows for hands-free interaction when on the charger.

The other night it got unexpectedly cold, I didn't have the heat on. I just said "Hey siri...current temperature" and decided 54 degrees was cold enough to get up and turn on the heat. :)

Change your thermostat and you could change the temp in your home from your phone while in Alaska.
