You would have rathered he/she not have told you concerning their sexual background? There may already be a thread regarding this but tbh I am too lazy to search for it right now.
Only in the sense of, "Wow, that was hott, now I'm going to be fantasizing about you the next time I masturbate." I've never had any friends reveal super weird or disturbing stuff from their past, and it'd have to be pretty messed up for me for me to wish I hadn't even heard it. Generally, I enjoy hearing about people's sexual backgrounds.

The only time I've ever felt that way was when a close friend told me about how he was cheating on his wife. I knew her and she was a really nice girl. I kinda felt like he was an asshole after that.
I still talk to him but I don't think of him the same way. It wasn't an "Oh man, I fucked up." kind of confession. He was proud. I was ashamed for him. Had he expressed any regret or remorse I'd think more highly of him and would probably still consider him a 'close' friend.

I've had girls tell me similar things in the past. I spend exactly .05 seconds thinking about it and then put it out of my head. If she wants to share, that's nice I guess. She wants to talk about things with me, so cool.
If her motivation for saying it comes from somewhere else then it's on her to come out with it. I don't play that 'why didn't you read my mind' game. It's a losing proposition even when you guess correctly.
Edit: Sorry Beck, I misread your last comment. But my point remains the same. .05 seconds is how long I spend considering her last sexual relationship. I'm not the last guy, I'm me, and I'm the one she's with. That's what's important.

Yes, quite recently. My oldest step-daughter confided in me concerning her cyber-erotic goings-on with a b.i.l. Later; after I questioned her motives for doing so, she said it was not meant to titillate. Not sure about that as she knows exactly how I feel about her and the fact that I've enjoyed watching her in the past.

Yeah. I knew that two friends were hooking up, and that he was married. I was young (25 or so), and didn't understand marriage the way I do today, so that didn't bother me. He hired me to come to his house and do some carpentry, and I met his wife.
