Not now, but he won't run for re-election. I don't know enough about Nevada politics to speculate on who might be a contender now. I guess Durbin is in line to become party leader for the Dems in 2017?

Retiring senators:

Reid (D-NV)
Mikulski (D-MD)
Coats (R-IN)
Boxer (D-CA)

Also:

David Vitter will leave the Senate if he gets elected governor of Louisiana later this year. He'll be replaced by another insane person, and one probably more law-abiding, although in Louisiana you never know.

Rubio appears likely to not run again, though he certainly has time to change his mind if the presidential thing doesn't work out.

John McCain is the only geezer senator who has yet to announce if he's running or not, so I assume he's at least thinking of calling it quits.

Only in Murica would a 75 year old announcing his retirement be considered a "surprise move".

One less Democrat for the Porcine Marine to be outraged over.

McCain is fundraising for his re-election with poor-me everyone is picking on me appeals, unfortunately.

Retiring from politics at 65 should be mandatory.

I don't agree with mandatory retirement, but I can't imagine anyone wanting to do it at that age. McCain could enjoy a terrific retirement, doing the stuff men his age do in Arizona (if he even intends to live there once he's out of the Senate). Despite my differences with him on most things, he really deserves to relax after what he went through in captivity.

Maybe he's re-energized by the GOP regaining the Senate. I notice that Shelby and Grassley, both over 80 now, intend to run again in 2016.
